My coaching philosophy is that we're already whole, and that a skilled coach and group of peers can help us get un-stuck from what's preventing us from seeing or experiencing that wholeness. In practical, simplified terms that looks like discovering blindspots and exploring the edges of what feels risky, knowing that there is a more free, more empowered state of being on the other side. In my experience, the group coaching format is a fantastic place to feel seen and supported in one's own development, and the transformation that can occur in a coaching engagement is what inspires me to coach.
I spent the last 10 or so years in startup leadership roles and became interested in coaching several years back when I joined the Conscious Leadership Group as a forum member — a group coaching context. I went on to get certified as an Integral Coach through New Ventures West, and continue to train in other methodologies.
