Our mission has always been to make the world a less lonely place. We aim to extend coaching beyond the boardroom by helping leaders at all levels navigate personal and professional transitions through group coaching.
Professional sports can be a particularly lonely world, which is why we're thrilled to announce that The Grand is now the Official Leadership Coaching Partner of Angel City FC. Through this partnership, The Grand will work with the club’s players, staff, and non-profit partners to help them thrive both on and off the field.
What is Angel City FC?
Angel City Football Club (ACFC) is a National Women's Soccer League expansion team based in Los Angeles. It was founded in 2019 (just like us!) by Academy Award-winning actress and activist Natalie Portman, technology venture capitalist Kara Nortman, and media entrepreneur Julie Uhrman. It’s backed by a star-studded list of co-owners: venture capitalist, 776 founder, and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, as well as actresses Jennifer Garner and America Ferrera, author Glennon Doyle, athletes Abby Wambach and Mia Hamm, and more.
Like us, Angel City FC is a female-founded startup with a strong focus on community. Under the club’s unique sponsorship model, 10% of each corporate partner’s contribution goes to community organizations in LA. We're excited to partner with a team that truly cares about its people and we can't wait to help the ACFC community achieve their 🥅goals🥅.
