Join us for The Grand Quest on Thriving in a New Role to better understand how your existing work style translates to success in a new context. Explore new frameworks, acquire tools, and get the support needed to do your best.

This quest is designed for professionals within their first year in a new role or a new company.

This Quest includes a live coaching program led by experienced facilitators, and a Member Learning Library for on-demand access to guides, best practices and frameworks that you can apply immediately.

The program is composed of 7 sessions, each 2 hours. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to participate in group coaching events. All sessions meet virtually. The Grand Quest is open to applicants from all over the world.

Curriculum overview

Session 1
Values and goals

The first session will deep dive into identifying core values and key drivers for work satisfaction. We'll use the SMART framework to develop achievable goals that will guide your Grand Quest.

Session 2
Building trust and rapport

Developing strong relationships is core to success in any role, especially a new role. In this session, we will provide participants with onboarding strategies and frameworks for building trust and rapport.

Session 3
Influence and motivation

This session is designed to help participants understand their default communication and conflict styles. Participants will learn and practice the art of influence to help you foster strong relationships with new colleagues.

Session 4
Effective communication

Effective communication is crucial for any work environment, and even more important in a remote role. In this session, we will share best practices for managing up and across as you learn to navigate your new organization.

Session 5
Aligning strengths and gaining confidence

All participants will identify their transferrable skills and learn tips for overcoming imposter complex. In this session, we will hone communication skills and learn about empathetic listening and how to ask open and honest questions.

Session 6
Understanding stages of team development

This session is designed to help you understand and identify the stages of team development. All participants will receive frameworks for giving and receiving, both positive and negative, feedback to help foster healthy team dynamics.

Session 7
The Grand Quest user guide

In our final session, all participants will reflect on their journey. We will chart your progress since the start of The Grand Quest, develop personal user guides, and share challenges and appreciations with fellow participants.

Meet your facilitators

Born in Miami as the daughter of Cuban-Greek immigrants, I witnessed early on the courage and resilience needed to go after a better life. I packed those lessons with me when I migrated to Barcelona on a solo one-way ticket. Along my journey, I took on many passion-lead jobs including small-business owner, jeweler, photographer, voice-over artist, and co-founder of an e-learning SaaS platform.

After seven years of building my career and community abroad, I took on my next adventure moving to San Francisco to open Typeform’s first US office. While in the US, I have held leadership roles in two hyper-growth tech startups where I built and operationalized teams from scratch.

As an alumni of the original cohort of The Grand Quest, I benefited from its community and curriculum when pivoting my career (yet again) and transitioning to a working mamá bear.

I've always been a romantic, creative, and intensely curious person. As an immigrant, I wanted more than anything to "fit in" and "make it" in the United States. Through The Grand Quest, I got back to my roots and started exploring what an authentic life looks like. I'm still on that journey!

I've spent the last decade working in technology as a marketing and product management leader at Microsoft, Dropbox, and Oscar Health. I'm now a leadership coach and facilitator, partnering with incredible leaders who want to achieve big things without forgetting what matters.

I live in New York City with my partner and two pups (Dug and Remy), and we're slowly but surely building a new home in the woods. I love swing dance, jazz, art & architecture, enabling romance, and learning just about anything.
